CLAT 2024 Registration Window Closes Tomorrow: Hurry up!

The Consortium of National Law University recently extended the registration date for the upcoming CLAT 2024 examination. Once the extension is done, no further extension is expected. The registration process will conclude on November 10, so CLAT aspirants can submit their application forms by today itself.

Students can register themselves from the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2024 is scheduled for December 3, at several examination centres across the country.

Common Law Admission Test 2024

CLAT is a national-level entrance examination for both UG and PG students who aspire to pursue law as a career. This offers law programs among 22 National Law Universities in our country.

The Consortium of NLUs has also introduced 4 sets of sample papers to help the candidates with their preparation. These are in the revised exam pattern and cover both UG and PG programs. 

This year CLAT has undergone some changes in the exam pattern. CLAT 2024 will have a total of 120 questions, which candidates will have to complete within 2 hours. 

There would be a total of five sections in the exam:

• English and comprehension.
• General knowledge and current affairs.
• Legal reasoning section, and
• Logical reasoning section as well.

The authorities have even advised candidates to familiarise themselves with exam patterns and sample papers for better understanding.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants aiming for Undergraduate CLAT 2024,  should have at least 45% in class XII examination. For the SC/ST category, students should acquire up to 40%. Candidates aiming for postgraduate CLAT Admission should have a bachelor’s degree in Law. LLB students should have up to 50% marks and for SC/ST students there is a 5% relaxation for the same.

How to apply for CLAT 2024?

Follow these simple steps to register application form for CLAT 2024:

1. To apply, first visit the official website by clicking on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2. Tap on the given registration link.
3. Enter your credentials along with a valid email ID.
4. Once done, fill out the application form with the required details and add scanned copies of the documents needed.
5. Preceded to the payment option and pay via your credit or debit card.
6. Click submit and download your form.
7. If required, take a printout of the same.

The application fees for General and OBC students are Rs 4000. Whereas for SC/ST categories the application fee is Rs 3500.
