The deadline for submitting the list of candidates (LOC) for the classes 10 and 12 board exam in 2024 has been extended by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The deadline for LOC submission has been extended to September 28 without incurring late costs.
Only those students whose names would be submitted through the online form of submission of LOC would be permitted to appear for Class 10, 12 board examinations in session 2023–24, according to a CBSE statement.
Beginning in 2024, the CBSE will hold the Class 10 and 12 exams twice a year. From February 15 to April 10, 2024, CBSE will administer the exams for classes 10, 12, and 13. Please check the official website, cbse.gov.in, for information on the CBSE 10th and 12th exams in 2024.
Candidates who submit their LOC after the deadline should be aware that there will be a late fee. From September 29 to October 5, applicants may submit their list of names for the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2024.
Class 10, 12 Exam Fee for CBSE Board 2024
Exam fees for Indian students are INR 1500 per applicant for five subjects and INR 300 per candidate for additional subjects. The cost for five subjects for SC and ST students attending government schools in Delhi is INR 1200.
Students in Nepal who are enrolled in the CBSE board must pay INR 5000 for five subjects and INR 1000 for extra subjects, whereas students from other countries must pay INR 10,000 for five subjects and INR 2000 for extra subjects.
In addition to the required amount, each candidate must pay a late fee of INR 2000. For schools in India and Nepal, the practical price for Class 12 is INR 150 per subject, while for schools outside, the practical charge is INR 350 per subject. Each candidate must pay INR 350 for the migration certificate.
When filling out LOC, schools should make sure that
Only regular and legitimate students are eligible to apply.
- No students from unaffiliated institutions shall enrol.
- Students should maintain a high rate of attendance and should not be registered with any other school administration.
- Only Class 12 exams are open to students who have passed Class 10.
The schools have the date of data finalisation plus four more days to pay fees. Previously, the deadline for submitting a LOC with payment was September 18, and submissions with late fees were accepted from September 19 through September 25.
