CAT Exam 2023: IIM Lucknow to release application form today; here’s how to apply, eligibility criteria

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will release the application form for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 today, August 2. Eligible candidates can register for CAT 2023 at iimcat.ac.in. According to the official CAT 2023 notification, the CAT application form can be filed until September 13, 2023.

 The date for the IIM CAT admission exam in 2023 is November 26. Candidates who successfully complete the CAT form will be awarded an admission card on October 25.

Who can apply for the CAT MBA admission exam in 2023?

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with the required proportion of marks.SC/ST/PWD candidates must have at least 45%. The minimum for General, EWS, and NC-OBC applicants is 50%.

Those with a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) are also eligible to take the CAT 2023 exam.

Those in their last year of graduation are also eligible to take the CAT 2023 admission exam.

How to fill the CAT application form 2023?

Candidates can follow the steps outlined below to complete the CAT 2023 application form:

Step 1: Go to the IIM CAT 2023 official website and click on the “New Registration” page.

Step 2: Submit all of the necessary information to generate login credentials (CAT 2023 login ID and Password).

Step 3: Re-login with your CAT exam login credentials and complete the CAT online application form.

Step 4: Scan and upload all of the CAT 2023 needed documents.

Step 5: Pay the CAT 2023 application fee with a credit/debit card or using net banking.

Step 6: Submit the CAT form and print it for future reference.

Eligibity Criteria: CAT 2023

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen and hold a bachelor’s degree from a university or other educational institution that has been established by an act of the Indian Parliament or a state legislature, or that has been declared to be deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or hold an equivalent degree that has been recognised by the government. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are exempt from this

• Candidates who have finished degree prerequisites and are awaiting results as well as those who are taking the last year of the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification test are both eligible to apply.

• The calculation of the candidate’s percentage of marks will be done in accordance with the procedures used by the relevant University or Institution. In the case of grades or CGPA, the method approved by the relevant university or institution would be used to convert these to a percentage of marks.

• The equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the highest possible CGPA, multiplying the result by 100, and confirming with any university or institution that there is no system for converting CGPA into equal marks.
