On September 13, the registration period for the Common Admission Test 2023 (CAT 2023) will close at the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Lucknow. On the official website, iimcat.ac.in, interested applicants can submit the CAT form 2023. On November 26, three sessions of the CAT exam 2023 will be held.

Students who fall under the general category will need to pay an application fee of Rs 2,400, while those who fall under the reserved category will just need to pay Rs 1,200 online.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 50% in their final grade or an equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates in the SC, ST, or PwD categories) are eligible to apply for the CAT 2023.

Exam CAT 2023: Overview

Candidates who intend to take the CAT 2023 this year need to be aware of certain key information. As per normal, the CAT 2023 will last two hours this year, and the candidates will be assessed in three sections—DILR, VARC, and QA. Each portion of the CAT 2023 will have a set amount of time allotted for it, and incorrect responses will receive a lower score.

  • Lucknow IIM On July 30, 2023, CAT notice 2023 was made public.
  • August 2 through September 13, 2023, will be the registration period for CAT 2023.
  • Three sessions of the CAT exam will be held in 155 cities in 2023.
  • The CAT 2023 will last for two hours total.
  • IIM Lucknow’s Professor Sanjeet Singh is in charge of organising the CAT 2023 test.
  • The CAT 2023 exam will take place on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

CAT 2023: Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for the CAT 2023 must have completed a 3-year bachelor’s degree in any stream from an institution recognised by the UGC. Look over the detailed eligibility requirements below:

  1. A bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average of 50% (45% for SC, ST, and PWD/DA categories) from an accredited university.
  2. Candidates who completed CA, CS, or ICWA and received the necessary percentage can also register for CAT 2023.
  3. Candidates may submit an application for the CAT exam 2023 while they are in their final year of undergraduate study.
