CAT 2023: Notification anticipated to be out by this week; details of PGP fees, seats in IIMs

On the official website, iimcat.ac.in, the Common Admission Test (CAT) announcement 2023 is anticipated to be published this week. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other participating institutes will hold CAT 2023 to determine admission to various management programmes.
The admission examination will be administered by IIM Lucknow, and convenor of the examination will be Sanjeet Singh, a professor at the institution. The exam will reportedly take place on November 26.
The notification for CAT 2023 will contain information on the exam date, registration cost, eligibility requirements, reservation policy, syllabus, testing locations, admission procedure, programmes available, and more.
According to the National Institutional rating Framework (NIRF) rating 2023, IIM Ahmedabad is the top management institute. IIM Bangalore, Kozhikode, and Calcutta are the institutions that come after the institute.
In this year’s MBA rankings, IIM Lucknow came in at number six. Candidates can look at the seat matrix and cost of the PGP programmes offered by the IIMs before submitting an application for CAT 2023.

CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the CAT 2023 must have completed a 3-year bachelor’s degree in any stream from an institution recognised by the UGC. Look over the detailed eligibility requirements below:
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average of 50% (45% for SC, ST, and PWD/DA categories) from an accredited university.
- Candidates who completed CA, CS, or ICWA and received the necessary percentage can also register for CAT 2023.
- Candidates may submit an application for the CAT exam 2023 while they are in their final year of undergraduate study.
