CAT 2023: Admit Card Anticipated to be Out on October 25; Know Cutoffs, Exam Pattern, Admission Policy

On October 25, the admission card for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT 2023) will be available on the site’s official website, iimcat.ac.in. On November 26, there will be three shifts for the exam: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Application of CAT 2023
For admission to 21 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the CAT 2023 is being conducted. Exam Pattern: CAT 2023
Candidates taking the CAT 2023 exam will have 120 minutes to complete the 66 multiple-choice questions. The component on verbal aptitude and reading comprehension will have 24 questions. These will be based on verbal reasoning, paraphrases, parajumbles, and reading comprehension.
The quantitative aptitude test will consist of 22 questions that will use algebra, arithmetic, number systems, geometry, permutations and combinations, and mensuration as the foundation. The remaining 20 questions will be found in the section on logical thinking and data interpretation.Charts, graphs, arrangements, blood ties, and riddles will all be used as the basis for the questions.
New Admission Policy: CAT 2023
According to the revised admissions policy, this year’s weighting of the personal interview was increased from 35% to 40%. In the shortlisting process, the weight assigned to grades from Classes 10 and 12 was reduced from 15% to 10%. Class 10 and Class 12 scores will carry 5% less weight in the final phase than they did last time, down from 10%.
1,164 institutions providing PG management degrees use the CAT score. 1,026 private institutions and 138 government colleges both utilize the score. 155 locations around the nation will host the CAT 2023. The IIMs retain the right to add or remove, alter or cancel any test location or city and/or vary the test schedule and date at their discretion, according to the examination authorities.
Expected cutoffs for IIM CAT 2023
This round of admissions to 21 Indian Institutes of Management is being held by the IIM Lucknow. Candidates who score between 95 and 100 have a better probability of being admitted to IIMs, according to prior CAt results.
