BR Ambedkar Bihar University Makes NIRF Debut!

BR Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur has achieved a significant milestone by registering in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the year 2025. This landmark achievement, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, marks the university’s first entry into the prestigious NIRF rankings. The registration was jointly submitted by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai and former Bihar Urban Development Minister Mr. Suresh Sharma on the official NIRF website today.
“This registration in NIRF is a significant step forward for BRA Bihar University,” stated Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai. “It reflects our dedication to providing high-quality education and our commitment to continuous improvement.”
The registration process involved the submission of comprehensive data on various aspects of the institution, including student enrollment, research output, faculty qualifications, infrastructure, and placement records. This rigorous evaluation process will contribute to enhancing the university’s national visibility and recognition.
“This achievement opens new doors for BRA Bihar University,” continued Prof. Rai. “It will not only enhance our national reputation but also increase our opportunities to secure grants and other forms of academic support from various funding agencies, including the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of India. This will empower us to further strengthen our academic programs, improve our infrastructure, and provide an even better learning experience for our students.”
This achievement is a result of the hard work and dedication of the entire university community, including the faculty, staff, and students. It reflects the university’s commitment to academic excellence and its continuous efforts to improve the quality of education it provides, Prof. Rai concluded.
The milestone event was attended by esteemed faculty members including Proctor Prof. B.S. Rai, IQAC Director Prof. Kalyan Kumar Jha, College Inspector (Arts/Commerce) Prof. Rajiv Kumar, NIRF Coordinator Dr. Jitesh Pati Tripathi, Dr. Amar Shukla, Dr. Navin Kumar, and others.
