On September 30, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will hold its 69th preliminary combined competitive examination. The commission announced the exam’s timings, stating that it will be held in a single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm. Soon, BPSC 69th admit cards for 2023 will be available on the site’s official page, bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The state’s district headquarters will host the Integrated 69th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination on September 30 (Saturday) from 12 to 2 pm. The aforementioned test will have negative marking and be objective in character. For each incorrect response, a third of a mark will be taken off, according to BPSC’s official notification.

 For 3,800 open positions, the exam will be held. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will have a chance to take the 69th main exam, which is planned for February 2024. BPSC has created 42 new positions, including 33 Supply Inspector Officer (Non-Gazetted) positions that were requisitioned from the Food and Consumer Protection Department.

The commission has stated that there will be negative marking and objective-type questions on the BPSC 69th CCE prelims question paper. Every incorrect response will result in a one-third reduction in overall score, according the marking method.

What is BPSC

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is a body established by the Indian constitution to choose candidates for the Bihar state’s regional civil services examinations. Candidates who meet the requirements may submit an application to the BPSC Authority.

 Every year, the BPSC Authority posts job openings, and as long as applicants meet the age requirements, there is no restriction on the number of times they can take the BPSC tests. The maximum number of tries is three for government employees who have worked continuously for at least three years. The BPSC has completed the hiring procedure for 475 positions for the year 2023.

69th BPSC: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the requirement that they are graduates of a university that has received UGC approval or is otherwise recognised by the government. Candidates who are in their last year of graduation are also allowed to enrol for the BPSC, but they must wait until the final BPSC exam has been held to receive their graduation results.
