Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2023: Application Correction Window Opens Today; Last Day to Edit By Sep 24

Today, September 23, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will start the application edit window for Bihar NEET UG counselling 2023. Candidates who apply for the state National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling can make changes to their submitted application form at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Tomorrow, September 24, is the last day to modify the application form. Students who had their security deposit forfeited and returned it can also modify their application form. Those who did not reimburse the security deposit, however, would be barred from editing the completed data, according to an official notification issued by the board.

To modify their application form, applicants must go to the board’s website and click on the link “online application portal of UGMAC 2023” and log in with their registration ID and password.

NEET 2024 Form Correction Procedures

The following are the processes for correcting the NTA NEET 2024 application form:

Step 1: Go to the official NEET UG 2024 website by clicking on the exact URL provided on this page: neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the login screen, enter your NEET UG application number, password, and security pin.

Step 3: You can now correct/edit the details on the NEET form such as gender, category, sub-category, language medium, and other information as permitted by the official NTA announcement.

Step 4: Select the preview option to double-check all of the updated details, which will be highlighted in red. To proceed, enter the OTP sent to your registered email/mobile number.

Step 5: Finally, click the submit button. A pop-up window will appear explaining that “NEET Form Correction is a one-time facility and no changes will be permitted after final permission.” Do you wish to submit the updated NEET form?’. Select ‘Yes, Please Do’ from the menu.

Step 6: After submitting the NEET application form successfully, a self-generated correction slip will be supplied. Students should print the receipt and keep it for future reference.

“During the Edit period, if any candidate edits their filled-up data and the balance amount of Counselling Fee or Security Deposit Amount is required, the candidate must pay the balance amount of Counselling Fee or Security Deposit Amount as the case may be, or their edited data will not be saved,” BCECEB added.

The board also urged candidates to read the guidelines included under “Note” on the application webpage while updating the data in the application form.

What aspects of NEET form rectification cannot be altered?

During NEET form correction, you can change the majority of the information on the application form, such as category, test medium, exam city choices, PwD status, qualifying exam marks, and state code of eligibility. You cannot, however, change your registered mobile number, email address, permanent address, or current address. So, when filling out the NEET application form 2024, be sure to input these details with caution.
