BHU Opened Ph.D. Admissions for the 2024-25(Cycle ll) For The Remaining Seats.

Varanasi, April 9, 2025 – As per the latest guidelines of the Banaras Hindu University, BHU has now reopened it’s Ph.D. admission for 2024-25 “Cycle II” as UGC’s Supernumerary Seat Policy takes effect. This step is intended to make use of the remaining or vacant seats available from the first cycle of admissions.
The university admission portal shall be live from 9th April 2025, 2025, and so departments can make admission offers to eligible waitlisted candidates. Candidates described as waitlisted are advised to check the portal to ensure there is no delay in accepting available admission offers.
