BHU Launches a Visiting Faculty Program: A New Initiative is in Motion

Banaras Hindu University has launched the “Darbhanga Naresh Rameshwar Singh Visiting Faculty Program”. This would strengthen academic and research collaboration by establishing new partnerships with prestigious institutions.
The program is a tribute to the contribution and leadership of H.E. Rameshwar Singh in the establishment of BHU. He was the former ruler of Darbhanga. He was also among the initial donors and provided leadership for raising funds from other states. His constant support and trust in BHU’s formation will be celebrated through this scheme.
Darbhanga Naresh Rameshwar Singh Visiting Faculty Program
This initiative would promote close academic and research connections with leading institutions. This program is specially designed for those institutions ranked under 20 by NIRF. Darbhanga Naresh Rameshwar Singh Visiting Faculty Program will provide a one-of-a-kind chance for faculty members from top-ranking institutions to contribute as one-year visiting faculty at BHU.
This is a chance to teach and carry out collaborative research and be a deputation in BHU. Regular teachers with at least 3 years of service are eligible to apply. The members are expected to convey and interact with students for one complete course per semester. Collaborative contributions to BHU’s academic environment are expected too.
The members would be provided with BHU’s state-of-the-art labs, library, and high-end research centers. This scheme is launched under eminence-BHU, an initiative of MoE, GOL.
