Bajaj Auto introduced Engineering Skills Training (BEST) to train and drive employability among Engineering Graduates. The Bajaj Auto Company has collaborated with Banasthali Vidyapeeth in Rajasthan and Symbiosis International University in Maharashtra to manufacture skills for. The initiative is launched under the corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The BEST programme will likely support students who are from economically weaker sections of society,(EWS). It will also aid PWDs by offering scholarships to specially abled students.

The programme emphazised on four modules. They are:

  1. Mechatronics,
  2. Motion control and sensor technology,
  3. Robotics and automation, and
  4. Industry 4.0

For the purpose of enhancing the practical skills of young people and preparing them for the workforce, the organization will establish advanced laboratories with prestigious universities and engineering colleges across India.

The curriculum of the programme is in line with the National Occupational Standards (NOSs) for several occupations. According to the Bajaj, these training centers’ initial operating costs will be covered by them. It intends to help these facilities become more financially stable over time so they can keep providing top-notch training.

Managing director of Bajaj Auto Limited, Rajiv Bajaj, Said, “More than 12 million people join the workforce each year. The gap between academia and industry in preparing young people for the workforce, however, is enormous due to the rapid developments in technology. We are today delighted to present our flagship CSR project, which commits to closing this gap, with a history of giving back to society.”

A committee of senior Bajaj Auto officials created the labs and the programme design, underscoring the dedication to the initiative. To ensure that this programme reaches the worthy youth of India, “we look forward to working with the business community and academic institutions, Bajaj Auto Ltd. executive director Pradeep Shrivastava,” added.

The Bajaj’s BEST (Bajaj Engineering Skills Training) programme has already established partnerships with several of India’s finest educational institutions to provide engineering graduates with top -notch training.
