The Higher Secondary or Class 12 board examinations 2024 online application form will be accessible from November 1, according to a statement from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). Students must register online at ahsec.assam.gov.in, the school’s official website. The Assam 12th board examinations of 2024 are expected to take place in February–March.
According to a notice issued by AHSEC, “For the benefit of everyone’s knowledge, the council plans to hold the Higher Secondary Final Examination in February or March of 2024. In this regard, the procedure of completing an online form will begin on November 1, 2023, and end on November 30, 2023.”
In order to ensure that no student is excluded from the registration process, the council asked the leaders of the institutions under its control to inform their students about the online registration during the specified time frame.
The board further stated that “the appropriate portal for online form filling will be opened in due course and that will be communicated to the institutions.”

The council reaffirmed that examinees from government, provincialized, and acknowledged enterprise schools whose parents’ combined annual income is Rs. 2,00,000 or less are free from paying center and examination costs.

Eligibility Requirements for Assam High School Registration
Students must check the following items before submitting their AHSEC 12th application form in 2024:
- Students must have passed the HSLC or an exam from a board that has been approved by AHSEC.
- Students from other boards are required to provide a migration certificate, the required cost, and the required declaration.
