A bachelor’s degree with at least a 50 percent grade point average and either a one-year Bachelor in Education (BEd) or a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) are requirements for upper primary teacher (Class 6 to 8) positions in KARTET.
Candidates applying for elementary teacher (Class 1–5) positions must have completed their Class 12th with at least a B average and a two-year Elementary Education diploma (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd).

- Go to schooleducation.kar.nic.in to see the official website.
- On the homepage, select the KARTET application form 2023 link.
- To generate the login credentials, register.
- Use the login information to complete the application form, upload the necessary files, and pay the application cost.
- When finished, send the form.
- Download the confirmation sheet and print it out for your records.
KARTET 2023: CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
Education Requirements: Candidates for primary teaching (Class 1–5) positions must possess a pass certificate from class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. They must hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education or a two-year Elementary Education diploma.
Candidates for upper primary teacher (Classes 6 to 8) positions must also hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% overall. Additionally, candidates must have earned a two-year elementary education diploma or a one-year bachelor’s degree in education.
