AMU’s Interdisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre to Ogranise two day Symposium on Cancer on February 19-20
Aligarh : The Interdisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is organizing a two day national symposium on “Defeating cancer through collaboration: establishing Cancer Nanomedicine Consortium” on February 19-20, with an aim to disseminate the latest research in cancer to academicians, clinicians, and students, and emphasize the importance of collaborative work in combating cancer.
The convener of the symposium Dr. M. Azhar Aziz, Interdisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre informed that Prof Bushra Ateeq (Bhatnagar awardee, IIT Kanpur), Dr Kausar Mohammad Ansari (CSIR- Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow), Dr M. Zainuddin (Cancer Drug Development Jubilant Biosys Ltd., Bangalore), and Dr Kumar Reshikesh (Medical Oncologist, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi) are the keynote speakers of the symposium.
The symposium will cover topics such as cancer research, personalized and precision medicine, nanomedicine, translational research, oncology drug development and artificial intelligence etc.
