AMU Girls’ School Hosts Grand Get-Together Party for Senior Students

Aligarh: The AMU Girls’ School, Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh hosted a vibrant Get-Together Party for Classes XI and XII, fostering camaraderie and talent among students. The event, organized under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Amna Malik and Vice Principal Mrs. Alka Agarwal, was a resounding success.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Prof. Vibha Sharma (Department of English) and Guest of Honour Ms. Tanveer Badar. The judging panel comprised Class XI Judges Dr. Anjum Ahmed (Department of Education) and Dr.Shaista Parveen (Women’s College, Theology Department), Class XII Judges were Ms. Afshan W. Khan and Ms. Shahana.
The program began with a formal badge ceremony, followed by a floral welcome for the dignitaries. Principal Amna Malik, in her address, emphasized the significance of student bonding and extracurricular participation. Vice Principal Alka Agarwal also addressed the gathering, lauding the students’ enthusiasm.
Chief Guest Prof. Vibha Sharma, an esteemed alumna of AMU Girls’ School, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to strive for excellence and discipline. She highlighted AMUGS as the foundation of feminism at AMU and expressed her appreciation for the faculty’s dedication.
The cultural segment featured stellar performances, including solo and group dances, musical performances, and an engaging ramp walk competition conducted in three rounds, testing students’ confidence and knowledge.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Safia Sultana. The Get-Together Party was a remarkable success, leaving students and faculty with cherished memories.
