Amazon India has made an announcement in accordance with National Education Policy 2023 to partner with AICTE. The partnership has been made to empower its Women of the World (WoW) initiative nationally. The partnership is made to empower women students, especially from engineering background. The partnership is aligned with the vision of Education Ministry, Government of India.

The WoW Initiative

The WoW initiative is aimed to empower the female students throughout the nation from engineering background. This is to bring gender diversity as well. The partnership aims to provide facilities to female students to build their careers in technology, as a vision of NEP 2023.

Under this collaboration and WoW initiative the female students will get chance to excel through various opportunities. It will include skill development programs, meeting industry leaders, mentorship programs, etc. It is also to advance the students with the latest technological developments. Such support brings confidence in the student that helps in getting better career opportunities.

Amazon India informed about the collaboration through twitter. It said that it is to uplift the women standards and livelihood of females.
