Tomorrow, September 21, the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will start the second phase of choice-filling for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC 2023) for BTech and BArch.
No further applications are required for candidates who have already registered for round 1 at uptac.admissions.nic.in to take part in the AKTU UPTAC round 2 BTech counselling. Seat allocation results will be announced based on the ranking of courses and colleges, seat availability, and other reasons.
The second round of UPTAC’s BTech seat allocation will take place on September 22.
On September 22, the conducting authority, AKTU, will also start the round 2 option filling facility for UG and PG programmes using CUET scores.
Candidates who receive seats must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000 if they fall under the general category, and Rs 12,000 if they fall under the reserved category. The third round will mark the end of the option locking facility.

As a result, candidates must ensure that their options are listed in the order of preference. There will be a total of six therapy sessions offered by AKTU. Candidates won’t have the ability to fill options from round four to round five.
According to the UP’s reservation guidelines, scheduled castes (SC) have a 21% reservation, other backward castes (OBC) have a 27% allocation, and scheduled tribes have a 2% quota.

Counselling for UPCET 2023 (UPTAC): Documents Required
During UPCET Counselling, candidates must upload the required documents and get them checked. When uploading, the scanned documents must have a file size of 200 KB or less. The necessary records consist of:

Admissions For AKTU 2023
- Candidates must come to the designated college with a provisional allocation letter when the counselling procedure is complete.
- Candidates must also bring the remaining money and the necessary documentation (originals and one set of photocopies with their signatures added).
- To secure their seat and entrance, they must pay the remaining admission money.
- If not, another contender will be given the seat.
- Candidates who are given a seat and are admitted to the designated institution will have the amount they contributed during counselling, less any deductions, subtracted from the institution’s charge.
