AILET 2024: NLU modifies BA, LLB, LLM, PhD syllabus, & exam pattern

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2024 syllabus has been amended by the National Law University (NLU) of Delhi for admission to BA LLB, LLM, and PhD studies. On December 10, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm, the AILET 2024 will be administered offline. By November 13, candidates can submit their online AILET 2024 applications. On November 20, the institution will distribute the admit cards for AILET 2024. Before beginning their exam preparations, candidates who will be taking the AILET 2024 exam are urged to review the amended syllabus.

There will be three sections and 150 multiple-choice questions in the AILET 2024 for the BA LLB programme. The exam will have a 150-point maximum score and last 120 minutes. For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the final score.
There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) on the exam for the LLM programme, each worth one mark. The 100 multiple-choice questions will cover all areas of law. Additionally, there will be a 0.25 point deduction for each incorrect response.
The 120-minute LLM exam will be timed. The 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the PhD AILET 2024 test will each be worth one mark. There will be 50 questions on the topic of research methodology.
The remaining 50 MCQs for the PhD in law will come from various legal subfields, and the final 50 MCQs for the PhD in social sciences will come from various social scientific subfields.
Candidates with a current Junior Research Fellowship are eligible for admission to the PhD programme.
