Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

Educational Qualification & Experience

1. Academicians:
   • Served or served as a Vice-Chancellor, Director, or Principal of a university, postgraduate engineering college, or research institute.
   • A Professor with at least 10 years of regular service in the revised Pay Matrix-14 (Pre-revised Pay Band-4 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000).
2. Government Officers:
   • Officers from Central/State Governments, Union Territories, or Public Enterprises.
   • Must hold a Joint Secretary-level position with at least 5 years of regular service in the rank.
   • Experience in managing the technical education system is required.
3. University or Research Institute Officers:
   • Officers holding the Registrar post or equivalent in Central Universities or similar institutions.
   • Should have 10 years of regular service in the revised Pay Matrix-14 (Pre-revised Pay Band-4 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000).
4. Age Limit:
   • Applicants should preferably be below 59 years before the application deadline.
