Admission procedures at renowned institutions; dates, links, and merit lists after CUET PG Result 2023

On July 20, late at night, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the outcomes of the Common University Entrance Test – Post Graduate (CUET PG 2023) for more than 4.9 lakh applicants.

Universities will create their own lists based on applicants and their NTA scores rather than using a centralised merit list based on the CUET PG outcome 2023. The most well-known central institutions taking part in CUET PG have already made their admissions announcements for 2023–2024, and several have started the registration process.

39 central universities will admit students based on the CUET PG, and the top five of those, as determined by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), are as follows:

• Jawaharlal Nehru University
• Jamia Millia Islamia University
• Banaras Hindu University
• Aligarh Muslim University
• University of Hyderabad
• Delhi University

The top central institutions taking part in CUET PG 2023 will admit students in the following manner. The CUET PG 2023 will not be used for Aligarh Muslim University’s postgraduate programmes admissions.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU): CUET PG result

Through CUET PG 2023, the JNU will provide admission to MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, MTech, PG diploma, and advanced diploma programmes for the academic year 2023–2024. Online applications will be available at jnuee.jnu.ac.in for JNU. This portal is not yet open.

CUET PG 2023: Banaras Hindu University admission

Over 50 PG curricula are available at the BHU. The results of the CUET PG 2023 are used to determine admission to these procedures. On July 16, the registration period came to an end. Candidates who have enrolled can enter their CUET PG 2023 scores during a five-day reopening of the registration window at bhuonline.in. After that, the merit list will be created.

CUET PG 2023: Admission to Jamia Millia Islamia University

With the help of CUET PG 2023, JMI will be able to admit students to its MSc Disaster Management and Climate Sustainability (self-financing) and PG Diploma in Disaster Management (self-financing) programmes, as well as its MA Persian, MA (Sanskrit), and MA in Educational Planning and Administration programmes.

The prospectus states that Jamia Millia Islamia will reveal its list of chosen candidates “within 20 to 25 days from the date of the entrance test.” Most programmes demand that applicants have at least a 50% average on their bachelor’s degree.

Candidates would have needed to apply online using their CUET PG application number on jmicoe.in. According to the prospectus, the rank list would be “based on the final rank of CUET 2023”.

CUET PG: Admission to the University of Hyderabad

For 41 PG programmes, including a five-year Integrated MSc in mathematics, physics, chemical science, biology, applied geology, optometry, health psychology, and other fields, the institution has launched the registration process.

According to a schedule previously made public, registration and counselling will take place in the months of October and November at acad.uohyd.ac.in.

CUET PG: Admission to DU 2023

The Delhi University’s PG programmes admissions webpage will launch soon. MSc, MA, MCom, anthropology, applied psychology, Arabic, Bengali, English, and other postgraduate programmes are available. The Common Seat Allocation Systems – Postgraduate (CSAS-PG 2023) at admission.uod.ac.in offers counselling.

These universities have been given the CUET PG results by the NTA, and they will now create merit lists and cut-off scores. By having their documents verified and paying the entrance costs to reserve their seats, the qualified candidates can move forward with the admission process.
