Types:
1.Two-Year Full-Time MBA Specializations
A second-year specialization with a functional focus (for example, an MBA with a marketing focus at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, FMS Delhi). This is one of the specialities of Indian MBAs.
The MBA degree offered by IIM Kozhikode, XLRI, IIM Indore, or IIFT can specialize in a certain function (for example, the MBA in Finance program). This specialized MBA program is offered by several IIMs and top business schools.

Regular MBA
Degree from a recognized university (10+2+3/4) with at least 50% of the grade point average (45% for SC/ST/PWD) and a passing grade in entrance exams.
Executive MBA
- A bachelor’s degree (Engineering, B.Sc., BBA, B.Com) from a recognized university.
- It is necessary to possess two years of full-time work experience.
- Scores on MBA entrance exams that are valid.
Distance MBA
- Graduation from a recognized university with a 50% score.
- In distance MBA entrance exams, there is a minimum score.
Online MBA
- Bachelor’s degree from any discipline with an aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognized university.
- MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, etc., are required. Candidates with work experience are preferred.
- There is no age limit.
MBA Abroad
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited university in any subject.
- Experience must be between 3 and 5 years.
- GMAT score that is valid.
- It is a minimum passing score in language proficiency tests such as TOEFL and IELTS.
How do I get an MBA?
Different institutions have different requirements for admission to MBA courses, including entrance exams and merit-based admissions. Reputable institutions use merit-based admissions processes. Here are the general steps of the admission process:
Apply to the course
Both online and offline applications are accepted. We expect applicants to apply to colleges and universities that they are interested in attending. One must meet the minimum qualifying percentile of the school or college to be shortlisted for additional rounds of entry.
Criteria for selection
In addition to the written examination, special group meetings and personal interviews are held to prepare the final merit lists. The final results will be announced by the colleges or universities after all assessments are completed, after which they will announce a merit list of the applicants who have been selected after a written exam, a group discussion, and a personal interview have been conducted. Seats will be allocated to candidates after the admission process is completed. Application fees and registration for the academic year will be due by the applicant.
1. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad
Number one among management schools in the country is undisputedly IIM Ahmedabad. IIM Ahmedabad offers 2 years of full-time PGP and PGP-FABM programmes, as well as a 1 year MBA, Executive MBA, PhD, and a variety of other MBA programmes.

Ahmedabad’s IBS Business School was established in 1995 as a constituent unit of ICFAI University. UGC (University Grants Commission) has approved it. The school provides an excellent academic education, research, and training in the field of management.
The IBS Business School, Ahmedabad offers a two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). There are a total of four semesters in this course, which is two years long. Keeping the industry’s needs in mind, this program was developed.

3. Nirma University, Ahmedabad
The government of Gujarat established Nirma University (NU) in 2003 by merging six reputed colleges into one – Institute of Technology, Institute of Management, Institute of Diploma Studies, Institute of Pharmacy, Institute of Science, and Institute of Law. University Grants Commission recognizes the NU. The NU is run by the Nirma Education and Research Foundation.

4. Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management, Ahmedabad
It was established in 2009 by the Adani Education and Research Foundation (AERF) as the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM), Ahmedabad. It is a private business school accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education. The management infrastructure is taught at this institution.
The program fee for the 2-year (Infrastructure Management) and 2-year (Law) PGDM programs will be Rs. 7,60,000/- (Rupees Seven Lacs Sixty Thousand).
5. Ahmedabad Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad
Established by the Ashok landmark Education Trust in 2004, Ahmedabad Institute of Technology (AIT) provides quality technical education. In addition to being privately owned and self-financed, the AIT is also non-minority. The AIT is affiliated with the Gujarat Technological University. The campus is approved by the State Directorate of Technical Education, AICTE & Ministry of HRD and Government of Gujarat.

6. Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad
In the year 2000, the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES) laid the foundation of Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad. The school is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated with Ahmedabad University. Furthermore, this unit is part of Ahmedabad University’s School of Management and Commerce.
