All eligible class XII pass-outs aspiring to a career in business management are eligible to apply for the Master of Business Administration (Integrated) program, which is AKTU approved. This dual degree program combines an undergraduate and graduate degree – a BBA and an MBA – in an innovative manner. There is no exit route in the MBA (Integrated) program. From DR. A.P.J.A.K.Technical University, an MBA Integrated degree will be awarded upon successful completion of five years. Our program seeks to enhance not only the student’s management skills and knowledge but also to create leaders who can make a radical impact through the principles and workstyles they imbibe at the institute. A five-year integrated MBA prepares a candidate for managerial positions from Class 12 onwards. In an integrated MBA, students study management at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

AKTU’s Model Curriculum allows flexibility when designing curriculum and assigning credits based on course content and teaching hours. As part of the Model Curriculum, students have the option of choosing from core, elective and open electives from the prescribed courses. The MODEL CURRICULUM provides a cafeteria-style approach to learning in which students can select courses of their choice, learn at their own pace, take additional courses, and acquire more credits than those required. Grading will be used to evaluate the courses, which is considered to be superior to the conventional marks system. The grading system needs to be introduced to make the technical institutions in India uniform. For the first time, this will allow students to move between institutions within India as well as between countries. Employers will also be able to assess the candidates’ performance with the uniform grading system. The AICTE has formulated guidelines for the computation of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) based on students’ performance in examinations in order to bring uniformity to the evaluation system.

Admission

MBA (Integrated) first-year admission will be made in accordance with the latest notification of the Government of Uttar Pradesh / Academic Council of the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU).

Eligibility For Admission

Candidates for admission to MBA (Integrated) 1 st Year must have passed a 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized board and as may be notified from time to time by AICTE/ Dr. APJAKTU Lucknow / Government of UP.

Attendence

Students are expected to attend all Lectures, Tutorials, Practical Classes, and other prescribed curricular and co-curricular activities. A student is expected to attend 100% of classes (including practicals, seminars, special lectures, etc.). However, participation in the End Semester Examination requires a minimum attendance of 75%. Up to 25% of the students’ attendance may be excused for medical reasons or for other legitimate reasons beyond their control by the principal or director. The Head of the institution/college can relax the attendance requirement further, up to 15%, if he/she has been absent with prior permission of the Head of the institution/college for reasons that are acceptable to him.

Curriculam

The 05-Year curriculum has been divided into 10 semesters and shall include lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars, and projects, as well as industrial training and educational tours as defined in the scheme and executive instructions from time to time issued by the University. The curriculum may also include other curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities as the University may prescribe from time to time.

Examination

A student’s performance in a semester will be evaluated through continuous class assessment and end-of-semester exams. The continuous assessment shall be based on class tests, assignments/tutorials, quizzes/viva-voce and attendance. The marks for continuous assessment (Sessional marks) shall be awarded at the end of the semester. The end semester examination shall be comprised of written papers, practical and viva-voce, inspection of certified course work in classes, project work, or by means of any combination of these methods. The distribution of marks for sessional, end semester theory papers, practical and other examinations, seminar, projects, industrial training and general efficiency shall be as prescribed by the University in prescribed Course Structure. The viva-voce, projects and reports shall be examined/evaluated through internal and external examiners as and when required, as per University guidelines. The marks obtained in a subject shall consist of marks allotted in end semester theory paper and sessional work.
