Master of Science degrees are offered in disciplines such as Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Medicine, and a few Social Sciences, such as Finance, Psychology, Sociology, and others. Master of Science (M.Sc) Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met by candidates who wish to enrol in the M.Sc (Masters of Science) course:

  • Graduates of a recognized college or university with a science degree are required.
  • A minimum of 60% must be obtained in all parts of the qualifying examination.
  • Students in their final year of study can also apply.
  • M.Sc candidates will select a specialization based upon the subject they majored in during their undergraduate studies.

M.Sc. programs can be divided into three types:

  •   M.Sc. Course for 2 years.
  •  M.Sc. Tech. Course for 3 years.
  •  Integrated M.Sc. Course for 5 years.

Admission Process

Admission to the Master of Science (M.Sc) programme can be carried out in two ways:

  • The merit-based admission to the course depends directly on the score obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. The qualifying examination for college admission can also be used to determine the cutoff list.
  • Entry-level: The student is admitted to the course on the basis of the results in the National Level Exam, the State Level Exam, or the College Level Examination. Admissions are made through the counselling process.

The Presidential University holds a special place in history. The university was one of the first higher education institutions in Asia to adopt Western models.

5. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, New Delhi

Jawaharlal Nehru University is India’s foremost university in terms of teaching and research.
