GMAC releases the NMAT results 48 hours after the exam. The NMAT scorecard includes the scaled scores for each component (from 12-120) as well as the total score out of 360. Candidates who took the NMAT 2022 can download it using their NMAT username and password. As soon as the exam is over and the scorecards are available, NMIMS and other colleges will reveal their cut offs. NMIMS NMAT 2021 cut off is likely to be 95+ percentile for NMIMS Mumbai and 90+ percentile for NMIMS Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses. Candidates who reach the overall and sectional cut offs will be invited to participate in the GD and PI rounds, according to the NMAT 2021 Selection Process.

The NMAT 2022 exam is scheduled to run 75 days, beginning in the second week of October and ending in the final week of December 2022. GMAC administers the NMAT test for admission to MBA programmes at NMIMS and other NMAT-accepting universities. The official announcement for NMAT 2022 registration will be released in the first week of August 2022.

The NMAT registration procedure will begin in August 2022. With an NMAT 2022 score, you will be able to get admission to some of the best business schools, like SDA Bocconi, NMIMS Bangalore and Mumbai, VIT Vellore, K J Somaiya, XIM Bhubaneswar, and 50 more.

NMAT is a candidate-friendly exam since test-takers may select the date, time, and location of the exam at their leisure throughout the scheduling procedure.

To take the NMAT 2022, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any field. Furthermore, there is no higher age limit for taking the NMAT via GMAC test. Foreign nationals may also apply using their GMAT scores.

The NMAT 2022 test will consist of 108 questions separated into three sections: Language Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Quant. The test will last 120 minutes, according to the NMAT 2022 Exam Pattern. There will be no negative grading, and each right answer will be worth one point.

GMAC allows qualified applicants to take the NMAT test three times in a calendar year (including 2 retakes).

Candidates must first review the previous year’s NMAT test analysis to obtain a sense of the difficulty level and type of questions presented. It is also recommended that you download and solve NMAT sample papers to enhance your time management and test-taking abilities.

Based on past year cut offs, the NMAT Cut off for NMIMS Mumbai is above 95 percentile and 91 percentile for NMIMS Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses. The cut off for other elite colleges, such as XIMB, VIT Vellore, and SRM University, is between 90 and 95 percentile. 

NMATresults are accepted by about 40+ B-schools in India and 25 institutions in the Philippines, Nigeria, Morocco, and South Africa, and applicants can pick up to five colleges for admission during the registration process.

Main Purpose of the NMAT Exam

NMAT by GMAC is a national-level test for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes at NMIMS and other prestigious institutions that recognise NMAT results. NMIMS administered the NMAT exam until 2015, when it was replaced by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC).

NMAT 2022: Eligibility Criteria

To complete out NMAT Application forms, candidates must meet the GMAC qualifying conditions listed below.

  • NMAT 2022 applications are open to Indian nationals. NRIs can apply for admission if they have a legitimate GMAT score of 600 or above.
  • A three or four-year bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university is required.
  • To apply for the NMAT test, you must have a graduation grade point average of at least 50%.
  • There is no maximum age limit for taking the NMAT 2022 test.
  • To fill out the NMAT application form, no prior job experience is necessary.
  • Students in their last year of graduation can also apply for the test, as long as they can present their final mark sheet and provisional certificate at the time of enrollment.
  • There is no limit to how many times a student may take the exam. Candidates may appear in each exam year a maximum of three times (including 2 retakes).

NAMT 2022 Application From

 NMAT Registration is the initial step toward admission to MBA programmes at NMIMS and other prestigious institutions. Every year, over 80000 people enrol for this exam. NMAT 2022 application forms will be available online in August 2022 at register.nmat.org, the official registration website. It is critical to understand the NMAT registration process in order to complete the application smoothly. The following are the steps to register for NMAT 2022:

  • Visit register.nmat.org and establish a new user account by providing your name, valid email address, and phone number.
  • Fill out the NMAT application form with your personal, academic, and job experience information, the courses for which you want to transmit your scores, and your ID proof information. Acceptance of the terms and conditions
  • Select the colleges/business schools to which you wish to send your results. You may select as many colleges as you like from the list. However, an additional price of INR 300 is required for each new college after the first five choices.
  • Upload a scanned copy of your most recent passport photo. The file should be no larger than 1 MB in size and in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Online payment options include credit card, debit card, UPI, VISA card, net banking, Diners Club, and mobile wallets.
  • Choose your preferred form of examination (test centre or home-based remote proctored). Only Indian citizens would be eligible to arrange NMAT exams at test centres.
  • Upload your government ID for picture identification in this phase. Take a snapshot of your ID using your smartphone or camera and save it to your computer. Please upload the following picture to the Examity Scheduling System: Choose up to three security questions from the drop-down menu. Remember your responses to the security questions since one of them will be asked throughout the authentication procedure.
  • To plan your NMAT 2022 exam, choose the appropriate day and time zone. Candidates in India should select the UTC+05:30 time zone.
  • Enter your entire name and then your first and last names again. Make sure you type it accurately because it will be needed for authentication on exam day.

NMAT 2022 Exam Pattern

According to the NMAT Exam Pattern 2022, the exam paper will be divided into three sections (LR, Quant, and Language Skills), each with 36 questions. Examine the most recent exam pattern as part of establishing a solid preparation approach.

NMAT 2022: Previous Year Exam Analysis

NMAT is less difficult than the CAT and XAT tests. The NMAT 2021 test was somewhat challenging, with a few difficult problems in each area. Previous year’s NMAT test analysis is provided here to assist NMAT 2022 candidates in understanding the main themes, difficulty level of questions, and good efforts. This is critical in order to prepare for the exam’s requirements while avoiding superfluous questions.

The Language Skills section’s difficulty level was greater than in 2020. Reading Comprehension questions were more challenging than Verbal Ability questions, accounting for 33.33 percent of the total.

Logical Reasoning was the simplest, with 19 questions from verbal reasoning subjects and 17 from nonverbal reasoning topics such as Input-Output, blood ties, ranking, seating arrangement, and so on.

Quant was the most difficult. DI accounted for 15-16 questions of the paper, with 12 questions from Arithmetic areas.

NMAT 2022 Admit Card

NMAT 2022 Result

GMAC will issue the NMAT 2022 Result in the form of a scorecard following the completion of the test.

  • Candidates will be able to obtain their scorecards using the NMAT username and password they created when they registered.
  • The candidate’s name, date of birth, application number, overall and sectional scaled scores will be included on the NMAT 2022 Scorecard.
  • NMAT results will be valid for one year from the date of publication.

MBA colleges accepting NMAT scores: 

NMAT exam scores are accepted by some of the NMAT accepting Colleges in India, including university affiliated MBA colleges such as NMIMS, ICFAI, Jindal Global University, and for Specialized Programs offered by well-known private B-schools such as SPJIMR and TAPMI, as well as autonomous MBA colleges such as SOIL Gurgaon.
