MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT FOR NEET 2022:-
As per the NEET eligibility criteria, there shall be no upper age limit to appear for the entrance exam.
National Testing Agency (NTA) specifies the NEET 2022 eligibility criteria for all medical aspirants. Aspirants appearing for the medical entrance test for the 2022 session should know every detail about NEET eligibility criteria. As per the latest update, the health ministry has removed the upper age limit for NEET 2022 eligibility criteria. For appearing for the medical entrance test, the main concern of every aspirant regarding eligibility is the NEET 2022 age limit. It is mandatory for aspirants to be 17 years of age either at the time of admission or else on or before December 31, 2022, to appear for NEET 2022. As per the notice by National Medical Commission (NMC) on NEET eligibility criteria, there shall be no upper age limit to appear for the entrance exam. Category-wise age criteria for NEET [table id="4593" responsive="" responsive_breakpoint=""]QUALIFYING MARKS FOR NEET 2022:-
- Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in the qualifying examination which is 10+2 or equivalent.
- Unreserved category candidates must have scored a minimum required percentage of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates should have scored a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
- Persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs must have secured a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
