[ez-toc] UPES administers admissions to all programs, and candidates must apply online through the official UPES website. Admission to the BDes and MDes programs is competitive, whereas other programs are merit-based. The following information regarding School of Design, UPES admissions is provided: UG Courses

• Admission to BDes is based on scores in JEE Main/ UCEED/ UPES DAT
• JEE Main/ NATA scores are required for BPlan admission
• BFA admissions are based on merit
• A candidate who has completed Class 12 from a recognized board in the relevant stream can apply for UG programs
• HSC scores and performance in the Personal Interview (PI) determine the final selection of candidates.

PG Courses

• Admission to the MDes program requires a valid UPES DAT score
• Admission to MPlan is done on a merit-based system
• To apply for any of the PG programs, the candidate must have graduated in the relevant stream
• Students are selected based on their graduation scores and their performance in PI
