JEE Main exam postponed 2022 due to elections

According to recent updates, the JEE Mains 2022 (Joint Entrance Examination) has been postponed and will most likely begin in March rather than February due to elections in various states.

According to recent updates, the JEE Mains 2022 (Joint Entrance Examination) has been postponed and will most likely begin in March rather than February due to elections in various states. JEE Mains will be held four times in 2022, as it was in 2021, according to NTA, with the first examination taking place in March, followed by April, May, and June.

JEE Mains 2022 Exam date Update

According to a Ministry of Education official, the JEE Mains entrance exam for admission to engineering colleges may be postponed due to upcoming elections in several states. With the upcoming elections in mind, the examination schedule may be altered this year. There has been no update on the start of the application process and dates, but it is possible that they will begin in January and students will be able to Apply On.

CET For Central Universities To Be Conducted By NTA

From 2022 onwards, the NTA will also conduct the Combined Entrance Test (CET) for Central Universities. The exams will be held in May, and they are expected to be held multiple times, as predicted in the National Education Policy, NEP 2020. There is still no word on whether the BHU entrance exam will be replaced by CUCET or the JNU entrance exam will be replaced by DUET. In addition to NEET, JEE Mains, and CET, NTA will hold entrance exams for ICAR, UGC NET, AIEEA, BHU, and JNU. These announcements will be posted on the NTA's official website.
