The first of the four Jaipuria Campuses, Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow, was founded in 1995. This lovely campus, located in Gomti Nagar, in the heart of Nawabi Lucknow, provides a superb educational environment. The institute offers four AICTE-approved programmes: PGDM, PGDM (Financial Services), and PGDM (Business Administration) (Retail Management). The curriculum was created with the help of famous business executives. The Lucknow campus, in keeping with the Jaipuria educational concept, provides students with a rich and diverse dedicated teacher base as well as the finest in terms of industry interface. Dr. Kavita Pathak is the director of JIM. The college exemplifies leading-edge holistic management education.

Annual  hostel fees for  Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow campus for boys section is INR 95,000 , While the hostel fees for girls varies from INR 95000 to 155000 depending upon the requirement of AC and non AC rooms. 

The hostel room are spacious and well furnished with all the basic components such as almirah , study table etc. Each hostel room has attached washrooms for the students. The hostel provides the regular cleaning and sanitation along with the AC maintenance and other basic services. The hostel fees is asked to be paid before the beginning of the academic session along with the redeemable security money of INR 10000. The rooms allotment in the hostel is based on the first come first serve basis.

All the other expenses such as the mess and dining fees is included in the hostel fees, additional fees will be charged from the candidates who have opted for any other extra service from the hostel facilities. The quality of the food provided by the hostel mess to the students is always first class.

Hostel Rules in General

  • The Faculty In Charge, Hostel In Charge, and student coordinators are in charge of the hostel’s overall operation. The following paragraphs outline the guidelines for staying in the hostels. Any residential housing supplied to a student is referred to as a ‘HOSTEL.’
  • Students residing in the hostel must follow the hostel rules and other instructions issued by the hostel management from time to time; any violation of the hostel rules and instructions will result in disciplinary action against the student.
  • Each student must pay the required room rent and mess fees at the time of enrollment. On receipt of a memorandum of admission from the PGDM Office, the Hostel In Charge will assign rooms.
  • The institute will supply the hostel rooms in good working order with all amenities; however, if any damage occurs during the course of occupancy, the residents will be responsible for paying the appropriate cost to have it changed/repaired by the institute management. On the day of allotment/check in, the student should ensure that the amenities are in working order.
  • With the support of institute administration, the hostel wardens are in charge of enforcing hostel rules and regulations.
  • Every hosteller is expected to attend college on time, every time; no hosteller will be allowed to stay in the hostel during class hours unless the PGDM office officially permits it.
  • Ragging is illegal in the United States. Any hosteller discovered directly or indirectly engaging in in-disciplinary activities such as theft, ragging, fighting, quarrelling, abusive language, or misbehaving with fellow students within hostel/campus premises will face disciplinary punishment.
  • It would be very unlawful to bring utensils from the mess into the hostel room.
  • It is highly forbidden to lend or borrow money or fancy gadgets from other co-hostellers.

Leave of Absence

  • Out-station leave applications must be submitted in advance to the hostel wardens by all resident students. For up to two days of leave, students must notify the programme chairman and hostel warden two days in advance, and for more than two days of absence, students must notify the programme chairperson and hostel warden ten days in advance. In the absence of a written request from the parents, the wardens of the girls and boys hostels shall confirm with the concerned parents before issuing the leave pass (enclosed with the handbook).

  • Students leaving the hostel must fill out an out pass in the reception area, get it signed by the Hostel Warden, and give it to the security guard at the main entrance. Students must check back into the same out pass after returning from an outing.
  • Students should fill out a registration form at the Main Gate Security, and a separate registration form will be kept at the hostel by the hostel warden/hostel attendant for outing purposes.
  • All resident girls and boys are permitted to use the pass during non-academic hours, with a maximum of four outings per week. Residents who are going out are required to return to the hostel by 8.30 p.m. in all instances. All defaulters will be penalised, with our pass being revoked for one or two weeks.
  • Students must return from outings by 8.30 p.m. and be in their rooms by 10 p.m. in the winter and 10.30 p.m. in the summer.
  • All residence students must sign the attendance register in the morning by 8.45 a.m. (before going to class) and in the evening by 10.00 p.m. in the winter and 10.30 p.m. in the summer (before going to class).
  • Without the previous written consent of the programme chairperson, no student may be present in the hostel during their class hours unless there is a valid reason, such as illness.

Vacation of Rooms in the Hostel

  • Without the consent of the programme chairperson / Hostel warden, students are not permitted to stay in the Hostel during their vacation.
  • Students who are leaving the hostel for a long period of time or vacation, or who are going to a company for a summer training project, must turn over the charge of their rooms to the hostel warden, complete with all fully functional amenities, and the hostel warden / institute administration will attest to this.

Electricity

  • Electric heaters or other electric gadgets, including an electric iron, are not permitted in the hostel rooms. For violations of this rule, a fee of Rs. 1000/- will be imposed, the appliance will be confiscated, and disciplinary action, including the termination of hostel allotment, would be initiated.
  • Before leaving the room, make sure the fans and lights are turned off. If occupants are discovered to be in default on this account, they may be penalised Rs.100/- or more. The hostel attendant/warden will keep an eye on it, and the hostel committee/institute administration may conduct surprise inspections.

Common room

Under no circumstances shall the hostel’s common room furniture or other articles/equipment be removed.

Boarding Arrangements

Breakfast, lunch, and supper times must be rigorously kept to at the mess. Without explicit permission from the Hostel In Charge, no changes are permitted.

  • The institute mess contractor will set the fee in advance, with the permission of the mess committee. If the circumstances demands, the fee will be amended according to the judgement of the mess committee.
  • Mess Fees will be charged as needed until the 5th of each month. Defaulters will be assessed a late fee of Rs.50/- per day.
  • The hostel and mess fees are paid for the entire month, regardless of when you join the hostel.
  • The mess committee will decide on the menu and will notify everyone as needed. The current menu is shown on the bulletin boards in the hostel.

Other Important Instructions

  • Parents are encouraged to communicate with their children on a frequent basis so that they are aware of their class schedules and whereabouts after class.
  • Notices for the kids’ guidance must be posted on the bulletin boards. Students are encouraged to read the messages on a frequent basis for their own benefit. Non-compliance is not excused by ignorance of regulations and instructions.
  • No club or society may be created without the consent of the faculty in charge of the hostels, and no meeting, other than the Mess Committee, may be conducted in the hostel without the permission of the Hostel Warden.
  • Without the authorization of the Hostel Warden, no parties or entertainments may be conducted on the hostel grounds.
  • There are no dogs or other pets, guns, or radios (save battery-operated transistor radios) allowed in the rooms. Radios and musical instruments should be kept at a low volume so as not to disturb other hostel guests.
  • The students are expected to maintain their rooms neat and orderly. Bathrooms and common areas must be kept clean as well.
  • The Hostel Warden is responsible for keeping an Indiscipline Register. Where the defaulters’ names and signatures will be listed, and if there is a pattern of indiscipline, suitable action will be taken in accordance with the Institute’s standards. The Disciplinary Committee will be notified of all cases of indiscipline.
  • In the event of a medical emergency, the student must notify the administration.
