Report on Final Placement for 2020-22
The International Management Institute (IMI) was established in 1981 as India’s first corporate-sponsored business school, with its first campus in New Delhi. IMI New Delhi has routinely been recognized among the country’s top 10-15 business schools, as well as among the top five private business schools.
The institute had achieved 100% placements for the cohort 2020-22 by the 30th of December 2021. This year’s average CTC at the B-school is 15.23 LPA, up 19.26 per cent from the previous year. The top 10% of the batch’s average has grown by 33.02 percent, while the top 25% of the batch’s average has climbed by 28.06 percent. This year, the institution has received five international offers.
The Final Placements 2020-22 attracted more than 90 organizations from a variety of industries, including Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Consulting, e-Commerce, EdTech, FMCD, FMCG, IT/ITES, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Telecom. As of December 2021, the institute had a 100 percent placement record for its 2020-22 class. 341 was the batch strength. The placement campaign attracted more than 90 recruiters. Recruiters came from a variety of industries, including banking, financial services, insurance, consulting, education, IT, ITES, and telecommunications, among others. A substantial number of proposals came from the Consulting / EdTech industry, out of all the sectors.
The maximum remuneration increased to INR 32 LPA during the placement campaign. The students were awarded an average salary of INR 15.23 LPA.
In comparison to the previous year, the average and median salaries of the top 10% and 25% of the batch increased.

The PGDM cohort had the greatest number of students placed. Students enrolled in the PGDM, PGDM (BFS), and PGDM (HR) programs all received 100% placement.
For PGDM (General) and PGDM (HR) students, the maximum remuneration package was INR 32 LPA. When compared to the other courses, the PGDM (General) students had the greatest average and median salaries.

In 2022, the average and median wages of the top 10% and top 25% of students both rose. The top 10% of the batch’s average pay climbed to INR 23.04 LPA, and the top 10% of the batch’s average salary increased to INR 20.8 LPA. The top 25% of the batch’s average pay also climbed, from INR 15.5 LPA to INR 19.85 LPA. The top 25% of the batch’s median pay grew from INR 14.85 LPA to INR 18.20 LPA.
