 Chitkara University was founded in 2002 and is based in Chandigarh, Punjab. At the undergraduate level, the University provides B.E., BCA, B.Arch, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.A., B.Physio, B.Optom, B.Pharma, Pharm.D, BFA, and B.Des. programmes. At the postgraduate level, Chitkara University provides M.E, M.Sc., MBA, MCA, M.Pharma, M.Physio, M.Optom, B.Ed, and M.A programmes. At the Research level, the University also provides Ph.D. courses in eight specialisations.

• Applicants for B.E must have finished 10+2 with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Admission to BE would be based on JEE Main results.
• Applicants for B.Arch must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and English as obligatory courses with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Admission to the B.Arch programme would be based on NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 marks.
• Applicants for B.Physio and B.Optom must have completed a 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as primary subjects with a minimum of 50 percent marks.
• Admission to BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.Physio, B.Optom, B.Pharma, and Pharm.D. programmes will be based on merit and performance in a personal interview.
• Seats for the B.Des course will be assigned based on UCEED results and performance in the personal interview.
• CUDAT is used to determine admission to BFA, B.Des Game Design, and B.Sc (Animation and Interior Design).
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks to apply for the respective PG programmes.
• Admission to ME and M.Pharm will be based on the results of an entrance exam and a personal interview, both of which will be performed by the University.
• Admission to MBA programmes will be based on CAT / MAT / NMAT / XAT / CMAT results, as well as performance in the group discussion and personal interview rounds. Candidates who are interested should be aware that registration for the NMAT and XAT has begun and will expire on November 10 and November 30, respectively.
• Seats for M.Sc., MCA, M.Physio, M.Optom, and B.Ed. courses will be assigned based on performance in the Bachelor’s degree qualifying test and performance in the personal interview.
• Admission to the Ph.D. programme is based on a university-based entrance exam followed by an interview. Scores from GATE/ GPAT/ CSIR-NET/ UGC-NET or comparable national level exams are also acceptable.

Chitkara University B.E & B.Arch Admission 2022

At the undergraduate level, Chitkara University provides B.E. in six specialities and B.Arch.

Candidates seeking for the B.E. programme must have finished 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as obligatory courses with a minimum grade point average of 60%. Candidates with a three-year diploma may apply for the B.E. Lateral Entry.

Candidates for the B.Arch programme must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and English as obligatory courses with a minimum of 50% marks.

Chitkara University UG Admission 2022: BCA, BBA, B.Com, BFA, B.Des & BA

At the undergraduate level, Chitkara University provides BCA, BBA, B.Com, BFA, B.Des, and B.A. programmes. The B.Des. Course is available in three specialties. Candidates can also apply for a BCA-MCA combined programme at the university.

Candidates who have finished their 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for the BCA, BBA, B.Com, and Integrated MCA Courses. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 exams are eligible to apply for the BFA, B.Des, and BA programmes.
