The Common Management Admission Test, popularly known as CMAT, is a national level entrance examination for Indian B-Schools. As a gateway to more than 1,300 businesses schools, CMAT is one of the most popular MBA exams in India.  In order to be successful, applicants need to invest the same level of effort as they do in CAT, XAT and IIFT. 10 Tips to Avoid Common CMAT Mistakes :

1. Not Having Your Admit Card and Other Documents Ready

The candidate makes a common mistake on exam day by not keeping a copy of their CMAT admit card and other documents handy. By keeping the exam hall ticket and other documents ready a day before the test, you will be able to avoid this mistake. You must carry one ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter Card, or Driver's license) on exam day.

2. Reaching Late to the Exam Centre

Another common mistake candidates make is arriving late at the testing center. In order to avoid making this mistake, you should arrive at the exam center at least an hour before the test starts. The time and date of your exam can be found online 

3. Not having an Exam Strategy

Prepare a list of questions you plan on targeting beforehand. A good percentile can be easily obtained by answering those numbers of questions. A section-wise strategy can also be prepared for the test. You should answer as many questions as possible in the Logical Reasoning portion, but if you are well-versed in some other section, you should attempt as many questions as possible in that section.

Exam day shouldn't be a time to learn new topics or concepts. On the exam day, only revise the notes you prepared earlier. During your preparation, you should make a list of the most important formulas so that you can revise them before the test.
