At the time, Singh claimed that equating a degree with education has had a significant negative impact on both our educational system and society as a whole, with an increase in the number of educated unemployed being one of the consequences. He informed the young people of Moradabad that Uttar Pradesh is quickly catching up in the startup race, with more than 6,500 firms having registered in the state as of this writing. In addition, the government has decided to establish two centers of excellence in the region, one of which would be located at IIT-Kanpur to advance drone technology.
