Union Minister Jitendra Singh Statement: AIMS at Independent Degree from Education NEP-2022

According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh, NEP-2020 aspires to separate education from degrees.

Speaking to the youth and students at the Krishna Mahavidyalaya in Thakurdwar, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister Jitendra Singh statement, NEP-2020 promises to expand India’s start-up ecosystem by giving students and young people new career and entrepreneurial options.

Dr. Jitendra Singh also said, Prime Minister Modi’s NEP-2020 will restructure India’s educational policy in accordance with international standards. According to the Minister, the new policy is not only progressive and imaginative but also in line with the rising needs and requirements of India in the twenty-first century, making it the most revolutionary reform to take place in that country since independence. He claimed that rather than concentrating exclusively on degrees, it pays due emphasis to the students’ innate talent, knowledge, skill, and aptitude. At the time, Singh claimed that equating a degree with education has had a significant negative impact on both our educational system and society as a whole, with an increase in the number of educated unemployed being one of the consequences. According to the Minister, NEP-2020 has provisions for alternative entry/exit choices, giving students, academic flexibility. Dr. Jitendra Singh pushed the students to develop a variety of skills in order to succeed in life, citing the Skill India Mission as an example. There are many examples of people in the modern world who have the most up-to-date talents working marvels.

Additionally, Union Minister Jitendra Singh Statement: AIMS at Independent Degree from Education NEP-2022, urged the youth and students to look into job prospects in the nation’s thriving startup industry. He told the crowd that the Uttar Pradesh government has just put Rs 4,000 crore into the state’s start-up corpus for the creation of jobs and economic activity this year in August. The newly added funds have been made to make up the first “UP Innovation Fund,” which will have the responsibility of giving start-ups seed money.

Dr. Jitendra Singh credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership for the rise of start-ups in India, which increased from just 350 in 2014 to over 80,000 in 2022 with more than 105 unicorns. Modi’s appeal for Start-Up India, Stand-Up India in 2015 sparked widespread enthusiasm.

The government of Uttar Pradesh intends to establish at least one incubator in each district by 2023, Dr. Jitendra Singh stated with joy. There are now 47 incubators spread throughout 20 districts. He informed the young people of Moradabad that Uttar Pradesh is quickly catching up in the startup race, with more than 6,500 firms having registered in the state as of this writing. In addition, the government has decided to establish two centers of excellence in the region, one of which would be located at IIT-Kanpur to advance drone technology.

According to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Ghaziabad, Agra, Lucknow, and Gorakhpur in the Purvanchal region are the next most popular locations for startups, and it is now time for the creative minds of Western UP to take the initiative in the Startups movement. According to him, the Western region’s green and agriculturally diverse belt can be a fruitful environment for agri-tech and dairy entrepreneurs. The Minister pledged that the Ministry of Science and Technology would help the StartUps ecosystem in any way possible.
