A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been inked between the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu and the University of Ladakh in regards to topics including academic collaboration, faculty exchange, and collaborative research. Director of lIM-Jammu B S Sahay and vice-chancellor of Ladakh University S K Mehta signed the MoU. An official representative announced that IIM-Jammu will open a transportation off-campus.
The University of Ladakh has consented to provide space on its campus for the opening of the Transit Off-Campus in Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh, making today a historic day for IIM-Jammu, according to Sahay.
He added the two universities have committed to collaborate in a number of areas, including research, boot camps, executive education, entrepreneurial promotion, short-term education programmes, skill development, joint conferences, and a variety of other areas. The two institutes‘ cooperation will produce results that are in the interests of all parties involved and promote sustainable growth and development in the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh areas.
Mehta claimed that the partnership with IIM-Jammu will benefit the university in gaining proficiency in a number of crucial areas, including the creation of educational and training programmes, long-term planning, the promotion of entrepreneurship, and institutional growth.
