Numerous academic presentations by renowned subject experts in the fields of computer science and engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI) from both industry and academia are scheduled for the IIT Gandhinagar virtual and open-to-all event.
A pre-event for the India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF) 2022 will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) tomorrow, on December 2. Between 3 and 5 p.m., a virtual pre-event for the India Internet Governance Forum will take place. This year’s pre-IIGF event has the topic “Multilingual Internet.” The institute has invited participants from all throughout the nation, including computer science students, professionals, researchers, and internet aficionados.
The creation and use of internet domains in various Indian languages should be discussed and made more widely known in order to provide new opportunities for the Indian people, according to a statement made in this regard by IIT Gandhinagar.
According to the IIT Gandhinagar statement, the virtual and open-to-all event will feature a number of scholarly talks by renowned subject experts in the fields of computer science and engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI) from both industry and academia.
Mahesh Kulkarni, the founder and chief technology officer of Evaris Systems LLP, will speak on “Universal Acceptance – A Fundamental Requirement for Multilingual Internet,” while Dr. Ajay Data, the founder and CEO of Data Ingenious Global Limited, will discuss “Universal Acceptance (UA) and its Coverage.”
A talk on “Empowering Local Communities through Internet and Vernacular Language” will be given by Professor Rajat Moona, Director of IIT Gandhinagar and a renowned computer scientist, the statement said.
