IIT Kanpur has collaborated with SIDBI to showcase its capabilities and innovation at the World Congress 2023 of the World Business Angels Investment Forum in Durban, South Africa. This was done to witness the transformative prowess of five Indian #startups incubated at SIIC.
IIT Kanpur is the first institute in India to offer Computer Science education and is a public institute of technology located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. There are many reasons for what IIT Kanpur is known for and they are mentioned below:

SIDBI which stands for Small Industries Development Bank of India is an independent financial institution that aims to the growth and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). SIDBI equally contributes in the national economy in many ways and some of them are employment, exports, and production.
Mr. Sudatta Mandal, Dy MD of SIDBI, along with key figures in India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, namely; Mr. S.P. Singh, Dr. Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of SIIC, IIT Kanpur, Mr. Ankit Saxena, Assistant VP of Investments at SIIC, IIT Kanpur and CGM at SIDBI led the delegation.
Not only this it was a great togetherness and the also many Incubators from SIIC namely Mr. Rajat Arora, Co-founder, AgroNxt Services; Mr. Himanshu Sahu, Co-Founder VoltWorks Technologies; Mr. K Sri Harsha, Co-founder, Kritsnam Technologies; Mr. Himanshu Gupta, Co-founder, Renergizr Industries; & Mr. Tushar Agarwal, Noccarc Technologies shared their thoughts.
