NIOS October Exam 2023: Class 10, 12 Begins Today; Know NIOS Exam Guidelines Here

Today marks the start of the Class 10 and Class 12 theoretical National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) examinations for the October session. Students must bring their NIOS admission card to the exam locations.
Today is Hindustani sangeet test day for class 10 pupils, and Sanskrit, early childhood care, and education exam day for class 12. From the official website, nios.ac.in, students may get their NIOS admit cards.
The 10th and 12th theoretical examinations for the NIOS October session 2023 will be held till November 8. In December 2023, the results of the theoretical examinations are anticipated to be released. 33 percent is the minimum required score for passing the test. Tomorrow, students in Class 10 will take their Sanskrit test, while those in Class 12 will take their Urdu exam.
NIOS Class 10, 12 Exams 2023: Important Guidelines
- To the testing location, candidates must have their NIOS admission card 2023.
- The students must arrive at the exam site with their NIOS admit card and a government ID, such as an aadhar card, a driver’s licence, etc.
- Books, papers, or any other type of reference material related to the test cannot be brought into the exam room by the students.
- Calculators, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, and other electronic devices of any type are not permitted in the exam room.
- The students must use a pen, pencil, ink, and other stationery items when taking the test.
- Only royal blue or blue-black ink should be used; however, headers in the replies may be written in red. Other ink is not allowed. Also permitted are ballpoint pens.
- Every day, 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the exam, the examination room will be opened. No student will be permitted to take the test if they are more than 30 minutes late.
- For the physics, chemistry, and geography exams, the students are allowed to bring sketching supplies, stencils, or templates to construct outline maps.
- No student will be permitted to leave their seat or the exam room without the invigilators’ approval while taking the test.

NIOS Exam Date 2023: Class 12
The NIOS Class 12 Exam Dates state that the practical examinations for Senior Secondary Classes will be held on September 16, 20, 24, and 28, 2023, and that the NIOS Class 12 Exam will be held from October 3, 2023 to November 8, 2023.See the table below for the subject-specific NIOS Class 12 Exam dates in 2023.
