According to the notice, the registration process for the NEET UG counselling mop-up round for 2022 will start tomorrow, November 23. On November 28, the last day to sign up. This is the third and second-to-last round of counselling for NEET 2022. It is also the last round where the registration process will be used.
Candidates will not be permitted to register in the final round of the Stray Vacancy round. MCC has not yet announced the seat matrix for the mop-up round or the seat resignation for Round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2022.
NEET UG Counselling 2022 Mop-up Round Important Dates
The following table brings the schedule for the mop-up round of the NEET UG counselling 2022:

Register for NEET UG Counselling 2022 Mop-up Round
The following table brings the steps to register for the NEET UG counselling 2022 Mop-up round:
- Candidates who are interested can visit the MCC’s official website mcc.nic.in. then you can have to click on the NEET UG Counselling tab, then the ‘Online Registration tab.
- Candidates need to enter the information such as their name, registration number, personal information, academic information, and the information found on their NEET result.
- The NEET 2022 counselling registration cost may be paid via a debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Important note: As many as 51,471 applicants have been assigned seats in the first two rounds of NEET UG counselling 2022. The Round 2 institution reporting process began on November 15 and will conclude today, November 22.
Instruction for Online Stray Vacancy
For the mop-up round registration, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- No New Registration/ Payment option for Online Stray Vacancy Round.
- No Fresh Choice Filling will be conducted for Online Stray Vacancy Round
- The Choices exercised by candidates in Mop Up Round will be considered for allotment of seats for Stray Vacancy Round
- Allotment of seats ‘Online’ by running software
- Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can only participate in the Online Stray Vacancy Round.
Eligibility Criteria: Students Participating in NEET UG Counselling 2022 Mop-up Round
- For the mop-up round registration, applicants must meet the following criteria: Candidates who exited with fees forfeited from Round 2.
- Candidates who reported to the assigned institution during the second round of allocation and indicated their readiness for mop-up round-up-gradation as Yes.
- Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 2.
- Candidates who received a seat via the reserved quota but had their second round of assigned seats deleted during the document verification process upon reporting for admission.
