MUMBAI UNIVERSITY Final Year LLB Exam:

A DAY after Mumbai University came under fire for giving its final-year law students in the previous batch incorrect marksheets, a new problem has emerged. The three-year LLB programme at Mumbai University’s semester V test is set to start on November 29. However, law schools have expressed frustration with the system’s technological issues as they attempt to upload students’ exam results, which are necessary to finalise registration.

Students are unsure if their exam will take place on time because the university is unable to provide hall tickets as a result of the delay.

While colleges have argued that the technology is at blame, the university has countered that the confusion is actually caused by colleges waiting until the very last minute to upload the data.

To ensure that students are registered for the varsity’s final-year exams, all colleges are required to upload student mark information to a portal supplied by Mumbai University. Only once the data from the first two years has been posted on this portal is a student’s enrolment in the third year confirmed, and only then is the student registered for the final year exams. The principal of a law college who asked to remain anonymous said, “Many law colleges have not been able to upload the data due to a technical fault on the platform, creating delay in enrolment.”

The procedure has reportedly always been to upload the results of every preceding exam before the semester V exam in order to make sure that the information is fully up to date. The exam was originally scheduled to begin on 23rd November, however it has now been moved to November 29. Exams are already running behind schedule, according to attorney Sachin Pawar, head of the student organisation Student Law Council. MUMBAI UNIVERSITY Final Year LLB Exam.

The Mumbai University, meanwhile, has insisted that only a small number of colleges are having this problem since they haven’t finished uploading students’ exam results.

The university stated in a formal answer that the reason some law colleges’ registration for semester V is still incomplete is because they did not upload their first two years’ worth of data. Priority should be given to these colleges uploading the missing data so that semester V registration forms can be prepared. MUMBAI UNIVERSITY Final Year LLB Exam.
