For the KSET 2024 exam, candidates must have at least 50% in Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognised by UGC New Delhi, while candidates belonging to Schedule Category (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PWD), Transgender, and OBCs must have 50% in Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination. Candidates who pass the KSET 2023 are required to apply for the position of Assistant Professor at the relevant Karnataka State Universities or Colleges (Government/Aided/Private).

- Application form for KSET.Post office Challan Xerox copy.
- To verify the candidate’s name, parent’s names, and date of birth, a 10th grade or SSLC marks card is required.
- SC, ST, Cat-1, II A, II B, III A, and III B category certifications. (Only candidates from Karnataka)
- PWD certifications (medical certificates indicating a handicap of at least 40%). Candidates who identify as Persons with Disabilities (PWD) should provide a copy of their District Civil Surgeon-issued medical certificate.
- Candidates who identify as transgender must produce a District Magistrate-issued Transgender Certificate.
