IIM Jammu and an Australian Academic Delegation

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu hosted an academic delegation from Melbourne, Australia’s Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). 

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu hosted an academic delegation from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University in Melbourne, Australia, where the two institutes explored academic collaboration opportunities. The Institutes addressed various cooperation, such as student exchange (Graduate/ Postgraduate/ Doctoral), faculty exchange, collaborative research, collaboration, joint conference, academic activities, and strategic partnerships.

The Australian academic group met and talked with Professor B S Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, and members of the Institute’s faculty. IIM Jammu provided a virtual tour and a presentation during the conference. The academic delegation led by RMIT Team also gave a presentation on RMIT University during the session. The academic group also paid a visit to IIM Jammu’s permanent campus in Jagti, Jammu, to better grasp the project’s complexities.

Professor B S Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, stated on the occasion, “IIM Jammu is looking forward to partnering with RMIT University Australia.” This will be an important aspect of IIM Jammu’s international efforts and will serve to promote teaching, research, and cultural understanding, as well as both institutes’ worldwide reputations, through student exchange, faculty exchange, technology transfer, and research programmes. The collaboration of both Institutes is certain to open new doors and provide substantial results in the interests of all stakeholders.”
