For working professionals, the institution provides stackable programs leading to a postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma (PGD), and executive-MTech. 

Applications for a number of executive education programs are presently being accepted online by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur. Working professionals have flexibility thanks to the distinctive executive education program’s fast-paced and slow-paced programs.

The artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent VLSI design courses are still accepting applications. The beginning of the program is expected to occur the first week of January 2023. Each program’s selection will be based on programming, a written exam, an interview, or any other factors that the admissions committee deems appropriate. In addition to meeting the academic requirements, candidates need to have two years of professional job experience and adequate hands-on computer programming knowledge.

Data Engineering and Cloud Computing, Data and Computational Sciences, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, Robotics and Mobility Systems, and other such programmes are also available to working professionals through IIT Jodhpur.

The program’s stackable structure coupled with several exit options is another special trait. According to the academic system, students must complete 60–62 credits in order to get the MTech degree.

Working professionals can obtain these credits by combining certifications (15 credits) in one semester or a post-graduate diploma (30–31 credits) in two semesters thanks to the stacking feature. Candidates who have successfully completed a post-graduate diploma are eligible to enroll in an MTech degree programme and acquire remaining credits at a slow, regular, or accelerated rate. Students must participate in synchronous audio-visual mode in the online classes.

Each semester, applicants are required to complete the program’s mandated campus immersion requirements, which allow them to visit the school for interactions with faculty members and laboratory classes. Students can work on cutting-edge research subjects for their MTech projects across departments and take part in initiatives supported by businesses and government funding organizations. IIT Jodhpur professors and business professionals will both lead the programs.
