Approximately 14.9 lakh people registered for the CUET last year, and 450 testing centres were needed for each day of the exam, according to a report in the Indian Express. To avoid the last-minute hiccups seen last year, the university is now prepared for 1000 centres, all of which may not be used but will serve as standbys.
