Class 10 students will take their final exam on March 21. Class 12 students’ board exams will end on April 5.
The CBSE notice states that in order to ensure that no two subject combinations fall on the same date, the date sheet 10th, 12th board Exams was created by eliminating roughly 40,000 such combinations.
At least 40% of the questions on the CBSE Class 10 test and 30% of the questions on the Class 12 exam in 2023 will be competency-based, the Ministry of State for Education, Annapurna Devi, said the Lok Sabha earlier this month.
There will be a variety of question types included, including case-based, assertion and reasoning, objective type, and constructing response type.

Entrepreneurship will be the first subject in Class 12 and Psychology will be the last. In contrast to 2022, when exams were divided into two halves, CBSE will now administer a single board test. While some tests will only last two hours and end at 12:30 p.m., most will be three hours long and end at 1:30 p.m.
In the most recent session, the results for classes 10 and 12 from the CBSE were released in July. Class 12 had a class-wide passing rate of 92.71 percent, and class 10 had a passing rate of 94.40 percent.
