So the National Testing Agency, generally known as NTA, which is also the test conducting organization, will issue the CUET exam pattern, together with the notice and information booklet, on February 10. The CUET UG 2023 exam will be held over a 10-day period from May 21 to May 31. While the UGC said that the CUET UG test format for 2023 would be the same as previous years, there has been a little adjustment.

The overall number of questions and the number of questions to be tried have both altered. The exam will last three hours and will be administered by computer-based testing (CBT). The exam will be divided into three sections, each including objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The question paper will be written in English and the languages selected by the applicants. Each question will be worth five points, and each incorrect response will result in a one-point deduction.

CUET Revised Exam Pattern

NTA has made the following changes to the CUET Exam pattern and the details are given below:

The CUET exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

CUET Exam 2023 will consist of 4 key sections:

  • Section IA – 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
  • Section IB – 20 Languages
  • Section II – 27 Domain-Specific Subjects
  • Section III – General Test 

A student is only allowed to take a maximum of 9 Tests in the following ways 

  • First, the Maximum of 02 languages from Section IA and Section IB are taken together, then a maximum of 06 Domain Subjects from Section II and lastly General Test from Section III. 
  • At First, a Maximum of 03 languages from Section IA and Section IB were taken together, a maximum of 05 Domain Subjects from Section II and a General Test from Section III.

CUET UG 2023 Question Paper Language

The CUET UG 2023 is anticipated to be held in the same 13 languages as the previous year, which are listed below:
