XAT 2023

XAT 2023 will take place on Sunday 8th January 2023. XLRI performs XAT on behalf of XAMI. 

For over 72 years, XLRI has been conducting XAT across India to select the most suitable students for management education. The XAT score is used by more than 160 institutes for approval.

XAT 2023 would be conducted across India in the following cities. Agra, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad City (Maharashtra), Allahabad, Ambala, Amravati, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhatinda, Bhilai Nagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh/Mohali, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi-NCR, Dhanbad, Dibrugarh, Durgapur/Asansol, Ernakulam, Gandhinagar, Goa, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hooghly, Hubballi (Hubli), Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kannur, Kanpur,

XAT 2023 Registration Process 

  • In case the candidate cannot fill in the application form all at once, he can save the data already entered by selecting the "SAVE AND CONTINUE" tab. 
  • Before submitting the online application, we recommend checking the information in the online application form using the "SAVE AND CONTINUE" function and changing it if necessary. 
  • Visually impaired candidates should fill out the application form carefully and review the details to ensure they are correct before final submission.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully fill out and check the information they have filled out in the online application themselves, as no changes are possible/reasonable after clicking on the "FINAL SUBMIT" button. 
  • The candidate's name or his father's name/mother's name etc. must be spelled correctly on the application as it appears on the certificates/trade sheets/identification documents. 
  • Any change/change detected may disqualify the candidacy. Candidates can proceed to scan and upload the photo and signature per the specifications in the guidelines
  • Candidates can proceed to fill out the academic and professional experience details of the application form. 
  • Click the Preview tab to preview and review the entire application form before the FINAL SUBMISSION. 
  • Change the details if necessary and ONLY click "SEND" after reviewing and ensuring the photo, uploaded signature, and other details you have filled out are correct. Applicant details cannot be edited once the application form has been submitted after payment. 
  • Please select the XLRI program based on your preference if you wish to study at XLRI. 
  • (Via XAT or GMAT) Select XAT test city preference. 
  • Candidates can select 2 preferred test cities when completing the XAT application form. Candidates are advised to choose the test city closest to where they live. 
  • However, the final authority to assess the TEST CITY rests with the authority.
  • (You can only edit the test city setting once before November 30, 2022. Click on the "Payment" tab and proceed to checkout. Click on the "Submit" button.)

Fees Payment 

  • XAT Registration Fee: Rs.2000/- Candidates interested in XLRI programs are required to pay an additional fee of Rs.200/- each.
  • Indian candidates can apply to PGDM (GM) via GMAT/GRE while an NRI/foreigner can apply to all programs via GMAT. 
  • Please note that GRE scores are only valid for PGDM (GM). PGDM (GM) through GMAT/GRE – Rs.2500/ fee for NRI/foreign candidates applying to one or more programs through GMAT – Rs.5000/-

Instructions 

  • The application form is integrated into the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions. 
  • Payment can be made with Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets. 
  • After submitting your payment information, WAIT FOR THE SERVER PROMPT. 
  • DO NOT PRESS THE BACK OR REFRESH BUTTONS TO AVOID DOUBLE PAYMENTS
  • An electronic receipt is generated upon successful completion of the transaction. Failure to generate an "electronic receipt" indicates a PAYMENT ERROR. 
  • In the event of a payment failure, candidates are advised to log in again using their registered email ID and password and repeat the payment process. 
  • Applicants must print the e-receipt and the online application form. 
  • Please note that if it cannot be generated, the online transaction may not have been successful.
  • Card fees are in Indian Rupees. 
  • If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert it to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates. 
  • There is an option to download/print the application form with fee details after payment of fees. 
  • Before submitting the online application, a candidate must have a scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature as per the specifications below. 

Rejected

THE APPLICANT MAY EDIT THE APPLICATION AND RE-UPLOAD THE PHOTO OR SIGNATURE IN SUCH CASES. 

Image OR Photo 

  • The photo must be a recent passport-sizcolorur photo. 
  • The photo must becolorlour on a light background, preferably white. Look directly at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • If the photo was taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you or stand in the shade to avoid squinting and harsh shadows. 
  • If you must use a flash, make sure there is no "red eye". 
  • If you wear glasses, make sure there are no reflections and that your eyes are clear. 
  • Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not acceptable. 
  • Religious hats are allowed but must not cover the face.
  • Make sure the size of the scanned image is between 20KB and 50KB. 
  • If the file is larger than 50 KB, please adjust the scanner settings such as DPI resolution, number of colors, etc. during scanning.

Signature Image 

  • Applicant must sign on white paper with a black ink pen. 
  • The signature may only be signed by the applicant and no other person. 
  • The signature will be used to attach the ENTRY TICKET and, if applicable. 
  • The signature obtained at the time of the check on the ADMISSION CARD and the attendance list must match the signature uploaded.
  • In case of deviations, the candidate can be disqualified. Make sure the scanned image size is between 20 KB and 50 KB. 

Scan Photo And Signature 

  • Set the scanner resolution to at least 200 dpi (dots per inch). 
  • Set Colour to True Colour.
  • File size as above. 
  • Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photo/signature and then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as indicated above). 
  • The image file must be in JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is image01.jpg or image01.
  • The dimensions of the JPEG image can be checked by listing the files in the folder or by hovering over the file image icon. 
  • Candidates using MS Windows/MS Office can easily obtain a photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50KB using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. 
  • The scanned photo and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format using the "Save As" option in the "File" menu, and the size can be adjusted
  • Reduced below 50KB (photo and signature) with the option to crop and then resize. If the file size and format do not match the specifications, an error message is displayed. 
  • After completing the online application form, the candidate will receive a link to upload their photo and signature. 
  • Procedure for uploading photos and signatures There are two separate links for uploading photos and signatures.
  • Click on the appropriate "Upload Photo/Signature" link. Locate and select the location where the scanned photo/signature file was saved. Select the file by clicking on it. Click the "Upload" button.

XAT 2023 Important Dates

XAT 2023 important dates will be announced by XLRI. 

Based on XAT testing data for the last 6 years, XLRI conducts the XAT testing on the first Sunday of January each year. 

This year, however, XAT 2023 will take place on the second Sunday in January, i.e., January 8th. 2023.

XAT 2023 Admit Card

XAT 2023 Admit Card will be issued by the Examination Board on December 20, 2022. It will be available for download on the official website: XAT Online 2023 | XLRI 2023 Admit Card/Hall Ticket will only be issued to successfully registered candidates.

The XAT admission ticket contains all important information regarding the test center, test time, registration time, and test day instructions. 

Check the XAT 2023 exam centers Without a printout of the admission ticket, candidates cannot enter the exam hall. 

Visit the official XAT website and log in using your XAT login ID and password generated at the time of registration.

Click the Download Ticket link. Your entry ticket will be downloaded and displayed on the screen. Take the access card printout and keep it for later.

Release Dates for XAT Answer Key 2023 

The XAT Answer Key 2023 will be published on the official website shortly after the completion of the exam along with the candidates' answer sheets XAT Online 2023 | XLRI will be open for any complaints for a short time. 

The answer sheet contains all the options entered by the candidates during the exam.

Candidates can use the answer key to match their answers and calculate their XAT scores. 

Students can use the XAT 2023 answer key to calculate the raw scores and then predict the chances of admission to eligible universities based on the truncated XAT scores. 

XAT Results Data XAT Results and Assessment Data 2023 XLRI will tentatively release XAT results in the third week of January 2023, after the Answer Key Objection window has closed.

The result of the XAT 2023 will be available on the official website. 

Candidates can download the XAT 2023 scorecards using their XAT login ID and password.

XAT Advisory Program 2023 

The XAT Advisory Process will start after the announcement of the XAT result in February 2023. 

Each participating institute publishes its Advisory Program on its official website. 

The consultation process for XAT 2023 is carried out individually by XLRI and other management institutes. 

Accepting the XAT score. 

The steps in the XAT consulting process are:

Registration for XAT counseling: Candidates must register for counseling on the official website of the respective institute. 

Course Selection: Candidates must select the courses they wish to apply for. GD/ PI: Candidates shortlisted in the GD and PI selection rounds will be called to participate based on the XAT cut-offs.

Question. When will XLRI release the XAT 2023 exam dates? 

Answer: XLRI has announced August 8, 2022, as the exam date for XAT 2023.

Answer. No, the university authorities will not provide their candidates with a way to correct any mistakes they may make, so it is recommended that you fill out the form carefully. 

Questions. Will XAT 2023 take place offline or online? 

Answer. Online, performed only in computer-based online mode.

Candidates must register at designated testing centers to take the XAT exam.
