IN the 2023 CAT exam pattern the question paper will comprise 66, divided into 3 parts, VARC(24), DILR(20), and QA(22). As per cat exam marketing, 3 marks for correct answers and for incorrect  1 mark deduct, and for TITA questions there is no negative marking. 3-4 months is required to get good marks in CAT.

To complete the registration process for CAT 2023, candidates are required to generate a unique login ID, complete an application form, and submit the examination fee electronically. 

The prices for the CAT exam have experienced a further hike in the current year. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Disabilities applicants are required to remit a fee of INR 1,200, whilst General/Non-Creamy Other Backward Class candidates are required to pay a fee of INR 2,400.

• IIM counseling is expected to start this year in either IIM Ranchi or IIM Bodh Gaya.
• The CAT cut off for the GN category for IIMs engaging in CAT CAP counseling is 92 percentile. 

For non-IIMs like SPJIMR, MDI Gurgaon, and XIME, candidates could expect a CAT cut off of 90-95 percentile. For prominent non-IIMs like IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and FMS Delhi, the CAT cut off for 2023 is in the 90-99 percentile.
