Chandigarh University has once again demonstrated its leadership in student placements, setting new placement records. When compared to the previous year, the institute received 12% more offers.

During the last placement drive of 2021, 757 Multinational Companies made a total of 7412 placement offers. The highest CTC was INR 36 LPA for engineering students, INR 28 LPA for management students, INR 18 LPA for hotel management students, and INR 4.38 LPA for pharmaceutical science students. Overall, the average CTC was INR 8 LPA.

The interim report of Chandigarh University’s summer internship placement campaign has been revealed. The highest internship compensation of INR 1 Lakh per month was awarded during its summer internship placement campaign for the class 2020-22.

This year’s Engineering placement drive saw a record number of students placed. A total of 350 enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies, took part. This year, % more companies visited than the previous year. The number of offers has also grown by 60% in Placements 2021.

The students were granted the maximum CTC package of INR 36 LPA. More than 290 international corporations earned more than INR 5 LPA. Over 70 organisations provided the CTC package of INR 10 LPA and more.

During Computer Science and IT placements, the biggest CTC package ever provided was offered. Wipro placed the greatest number of students. It assigned 394 pupils. The most picks were made at any campus in North India.

115 firms visited and placed 530 students at Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, and Automobile Engineering Placements 2021. They were offered the maximum CTC of INR 9 LPA.

A total of 35 businesses visited the school for Civil Engineering, Petroleum, and Chemical placements. These recruiters successfully placed a total of 178 students. They were awarded the maximum CTC package of INR 15 LPA.

Both average and median salary packages offered to MBA students at Chandigarh University touched a new high in 2020.

Among the top-notch telecom & mobile manufacturing companies that selected Electronics & Communication Engineering students were Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communication, Verizon, Lava and among the electronics and home appliance companies that selected students from these branches were Panasonic, Samsung.

Chandigarh University Placement for BTech

Some big names recruited Chandigarh University engineering students for campus placements in the session 2021-22, including Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart. Over 240 multinational companies participated in the campus placements, which selected a record number of 3750 engineering students. 

In total there was a jump of 30% in the number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was a jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies that selected the fresh talent.

Additionally, the number of engineering jobs offered to students grew by 60% compared to last year. More than 300+ MNCs offered pay packages of more than 5 LPA, while a number of companies offered packages exceeding 10 LPA. Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace and Automobile Engineering

Nearly 115 companies selected 530 students from Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics & Automobile Engineering branch, offering pay packages of up to 9 LPA.
