Calcutta Business School (CBS) was founded in 2008 in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is a self-contained institute that offers an AICTE-approved two-year completely residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme as well as many Executive and Management Development Programs. It works with Girne American University and East Michigan University on an international level. Calcutta Business School Admission to PGDM programmes is based on MAT/GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA and JEMAT scores. Calcutta Business School is now accepting applications.

Calcutta Business School offers students to its PGDM programme based on a valid score in the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or JEMAT. CBS also administers its own aptitude exam for the CBSAT. To be considered for the GD/PI round, all candidates must pass the CBSAT. Candidates who desire to apply may do so through the official website.

Calcutta Business School is well-known for its track record of prior placements. The institute finished its 2020 placement drive with a 100% placement rate. The placement procedure involved 40 recruiting firms. The BFSI industry has the biggest number of companies.

In our college we are getting decent facilities and our college ROI is pretty decent.

Placements: Placements are decent, many top reputed companies are coming for recruitment, like for example ITC, DABUR, NESTLE, AIRTEL, AMAZON, JARO, CCD, RS SOFTWARE and many more. Last year average package was 5.5 and the highest package offered 17 LPA. Apart for final placement we have summer internship placement here the highest stipend offered 40000 for 2 months and the average stipend offered 12000 for two months.

Infrastructure: In our college infrastructure is pretty good, we have 6 classrooms, 2 laboratories, conference rooms. We have a beautiful cafeteria as well as games room and gymnasium. Yes have hostel facility in our campus. Foods are decent enough. Apart from this we have Wi-Fi facility in our campus as well as in our hostel.

Faculty: We have 4 semester during our PGDM and we also have mid semester examination. Our faculty members are highly experienced. They have huge industry as well as teaching experience. Teaching qualities are excellent in our college. Apart from this we have boardroom management where a manager or senior manager in a particular company comes to our campus and gives us a real life business problem, and we are trying to solve this problem.

Other: Rather than studies we have our annual college event battle royale, we have our annual caltural event serendipity. Our college has CSR policy KALYANI. We have our annual sports event, we are organized freshers for our juniors.

Globsyn Business School is the best B-school in eastern India.

Placements: Globsyn Business School is famous for its placement records, and I am pursuing PGDM in marketing major 2018-2020 batch. I got placed at Kotak Life Insurance. Almost all of my friends got placed in reputed companies, and they are doing well in their life. The highest salary package offered in our institute was around 15 LPA – 17 LPA, and the average salary package offer varies in between 3.5 LPA to 7 LPA. Many companies like ITC, PWC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kotak Life Insurance, Airtel, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life Insurance, Bandhan Bank, Dabur, Carwale, Byju’s, Lido, Jaro, Step 2 Strategy, etc ., visited the campus during our final year with good salary package. Summer Internship programme is also important for all the MBA students. In our batch, all my friends, including me, get our placement in reputed companies for our SIP. So for placement Globsyn Business School is holding a very good record.

Infrastructure: Students will get their GBS email account, for online aptitude test every weekend. They can also access their Eglobsyn account for their needs such as PPT, assignment, online tests, etc. The institute provides most hygienic air conditioning classrooms with CCTV camera, Wi-Fi and projector enable classrooms. Other than that it also provides a huge library, computer labs, hostels, canteen, huge playground, free parking and a calm atmosphere which gives you a positive attitude. There is also a medical room. The quality of the food served in the canteen is decent, and you can easily get your stationery at the canteen. The hostel is also decent with air-conditioners and non-air-conditioner option. There is a games room or common room for all of us with two carrom board, 1 table tennis and 1 billiard board. There is also a huge playground where you can easily play cricket, football, and badminton during your free time.

Faculty: For a student, the most important part is how much she/he is learning. GBS provides excellent faculty members, outstanding guidance, ultimate support, and superior classrooms to make you industry-ready. Other than that, GBS also provide beyond education activities such as KYLF care for society, seminars, annual sports, blood donation camp, our cultural event- serendipity. GBS fulfil the needs of the student and helps them to be successful in future.

Other: I am pursuing PDGM in marketing major, and I chose GBS because, after a lot of research, I came to know that GBS provides excellent placement with good faculty members who help to learn. GBS provides many extracurricular activities, and beyond education initiatives, one of them is KYLF- Kalyani Youth Leadership Forum that cares for society, etc.

College has beautiful infrastructure, great faculty hostel facilities are also good. I just want to say choose this college because they give you a very bright future.

College accept CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT scores and thereafter, the selection is based on the performance in the group discussion, personal interview and other procedure. So i took MAT entrance exam and complete this procedure.

Internships Opportunities : 

Internship facility of this college is very nice they trained you for the internship so that most of the students got selected. Companies came like:- IFB, ITC Infotech, GE Healthcare, Eveready, Titagarh Wagons, HSBC, VXL, McNally Bharat, Goodricke Group, IMRB, SREI Infrastructure, Tata Metaliks, Rediffusion, HDFC Bank.

Seminars are organized by the college like: Yoga camp, covocation, alumni speak, extra co-curricular activities, advertising seminars and so many others it is quite nice we learn something new and enjoyed very well.
